Citation Audit
When a customer asks AI to recommend someone like you, does it say your name?
Not a score. Not a scan. The actual words five AI assistants use when someone asks for what you sell, and the name they give instead of yours.
£195. Back with you in three working days.
Why this one is different
A scan tells you what AI can read. This tells you what it says.
The free scan checks whether AI can find, read and act on your site. That is the plumbing, and it matters. But a site can pass every technical check and still never come up when a customer asks a question.
This is the other half. We ask five AI assistants the questions your customers actually ask, and we send you what came back. Verbatim. Including the competitor it named instead of you.
Most business owners have never seen this. It is usually the moment the whole thing stops being abstract.
What you get
Six questions, five assistants, in their words
- Six real customer questions. Not keywords. The questions someone actually types when they are ready to buy what you sell, agreed with you before we start. Designed to discover the most vital information.
- Five assistants, asked the same thing. ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. The five your customers are most likely to be using.
- The answers, verbatim, with screenshots. No paraphrasing and no summary score. What was said, exactly, with the date it was said.
- Who got named instead. The businesses that did come up, and what those pages have that yours does not.
- How AI currently describes you. We ask each assistant about your business by name. This is where most audits find something genuinely surprising: an old address, a service you stopped offering, or a competitor’s claim attached to your name.
- The three gaps that cost you the most. Named, in order, with what closing each one involves. In plain English, not a task list.
- A 15-minute read-through. We walk through the findings together and you ask whatever you want. No pitch attached.
What it does not do
AI answers are not stable
Ask the same question twice and you can get two different answers; ask from a different city and you can get a third. Anyone selling you a fixed citation ranking is selling you a number they cannot stand behind.
So this is a dated snapshot, not a monitoring dashboard. It tells you where you stand today, what is being said about you, and which gaps are wide enough to be worth closing. That is enough to act on. It is not a guarantee that fixing them puts you in tomorrow’s answer, and we will not pretend otherwise.
If you want to watch it over time, that is what the retainer does. This is the look before you decide whether it is worth watching.
How it works
From order to read-through
1. You order and we agree the questions
You tell us what you sell and who buys it. We draft the ten questions and you approve them, so we are testing the demand you actually want.
2. We run them
Five assistants, ten questions, captured with dates. Plus the direct questions about your business by name.
3. You get the report
A PDF with the answers, the screenshots, who was named instead, and the three gaps in priority order. Three working days from the questions being agreed.
4. We talk it through
Fifteen minutes on a call. What it means, what we would do first, and whether that is something you want help with or not.
What comes next, if anything
No obligation, and the £195 comes off
Most people who do this go on to fix what it found. If you do, the £195 comes off the price of your AI Visibility Sprint, as long as you book within 30 days.
If you do not, you still have the report, the screenshots and a clear list of what to fix, whether we do it or you do.
Citation Audit FAQs
No. The free scan looks at your website from the outside and scores what AI can read. This looks at what AI actually says when a customer asks a question. The scan is about your plumbing; this is about your reputation.
Enough to see a pattern, few enough to act on. Fewer and one odd answer skews it. More and it becomes a document nobody reads.
Then you have paid £195 to find out you are in good shape, in writing, with the evidence, and you can stop worrying about it. That happens, and we will tell you plainly when it does rather than manufacturing a problem.
The report names who came up in the answers, because that is the point. We do not run a separate audit on them, and we do not share yours with anyone.
Yes. Open five assistants and ask them. What you are paying for is that it gets done properly, in one go, written up so you can act on it, and the read-through afterwards. Some people would rather spend the afternoon on their own business.
A PDF by email, and a 15-minute call. Screenshots are dated so you can compare if you run it again later.
